Elder Care

Elder issues come to the consciousness of families after they assemble at family gatherings.  This is an important time for elder mediators to let their communities and organizations know that they are available for mediations.

Manousso Medation will be offering the next Elder Mediation Training in Houston in March 2012.  Meanwhile, mediators are encouraged to have completed not only the 40 hours of basic mediation training, but the advance family 30 hours of training as well. 

 

Elder Mediation Training is 20 hours of content and role-playing to support your knowledge of the dynamics of aging and the resources available for families and seniors to deal with a variety of situations.

 

We will also be offering advanced elder care training in Conflict Coaching in the spring that is a crucial tool for Elder Mediations in helping families prepare for mediation sessions.
