Your profile on the website introduces you to the membership and to the world! It is important that you tell them who you are, what you do, and why people should come to you.
Setting up this page is your primary responsibility and opportunity. Your responsibility is to your practice and to your clientele, and your opportunity is to be able to tell the important elements of your story in the most effective way to support your practice and to build the profession of mediation for all practitioners.
Every member good standing should be able to log in to the site. When you open the site in your browser, look to the upper right hand corner of the site to find the login button. Once you have logged in, you should see a screen as below, with your registered name showing above the "Logout" button.
Just below your name, you can select "View profile", which should take you to your profile page as seen next:
Look just below where you see "My profile" to find an "Edit profile" option. Selecting that will give you another presentation or view of the content, this time with fields that you can edit.
Review all the fields shown and make changes as appropriate, then SAVE your changes before leaving the page!!
Return as often as necessary to keep this page current and up-to-date with what is happening in your practice. Also, don't worry too much about getting everything right the first time. Enter what you think is appropriate, then review it on the website after it is posted. You will likely see things that you want to change, but now you know how to do it! It will look different to you when you see it on the site a few times, and that is normal. Do it over until you get it right!
