  Join us in July for our Innovations in Collaboration and Conflict Resolution Skills Enrichment Institute
 
The Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the University of Texas School of Law will be hosting the second annual Summer Skills Enrichment Institute, entitled Innovations in Collaboration and Conflict Resolution, from
July 28th -30th at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin.   

Attention:  There are a few partial scholarships available for non-profit staff and graduate students who would benefit from this program.  With the scholarship, tuition would be less than half of the rate at $300.  This price includes a reception, materials, two days of training, and meals.  If you are interested in attending the program or of receiving a partial scholarship, please call Mary Gaski at (512) 471-3507, so that she can
forward you an application.  
Qualified applicants will be granted scholarships on a first come, first serve basis.

ACR 10th Annual Conference, Chicago, September 1-4, 2010

Annual Conference Registration is Now Open Online!   

ACR's 10th Annual Conference provides the opportunity to step back and reflect on changes witnessed, challenges met and prospects for the future. Our 2010 Conference is an excellent time to celebrate the essence of ACR, an organization that embraces and acknowledges the full spectrum of peaceful conflict resolution and recognizes the value of cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural connections to enhance conflict resolution choices universally. ACR embodies "Many Paths: One Destination,” this year's conference theme.


The Association for Conflict Resolution Houston Chapter, a 501c3, is comprised of mediators, lawyers, arbitrators, doctors, facilitators, administrators, psychologists, peace makers, ombudsmen, negotiators, academics,  police officers, and many more professionals.  ACR uniquely networks professionals interested in communication skills to resolve conflict.

Membership benefits include monthly networking opportunities, workshops, skill-based seminars, fabulous speakers, and professional development.  No matter which professional that you practice, ACR can give you the professional edge to understand and resolve conflict.

Members receive a certificate of participation suitable for framing, invitations for monthly networking meetings for members only, and an email address that says it all, YourName@acrhouston.org.
